These terms govern your use of Hestia and its broker connection and trading features. By accepting, you confirm that you are at least 18, have authority to use the connected account, and agree to these terms.
Options, leveraged ETFs, and margin trading involve substantial risk. Selling uncovered puts can result in significant losses, assignment, margin calls, and losses exceeding your initial deposit. You are responsible for meeting your obligations to your broker, including trading losses, fees, interest, margin requirements, and taxes.
Hestia does not promise profits, recovery of losses, or any level of income. Premium received is not necessarily profit. Rolling closes one position and opens another; it does not erase losses. Estimates, benchmarks, and past results do not guarantee future performance.
Review the contract, quantity, price, expiration, buying power, and risks before submitting an order. You decide whether to trade. Connecting an account or accepting these terms alone does not authorize an order. When you use an order submission control, you authorize that requested order through your connected broker.
Prices, calculations, and account information may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. An order request is not a confirmed fill. Orders may be rejected, partially filled, or delayed. Verify order status and positions directly with your broker, especially after an error or outage, and avoid duplicate submissions. Hestia does not guarantee uninterrupted access or execution at a displayed price.
Connecting through SnapTrade permits Hestia to access account information within the permissions you grant, including balances, positions, and order history. Trading access permits submission of orders you request. Your broker and connection provider have their own agreements. You can disconnect through Hestia or revoke access with the provider; disconnecting does not close positions or cancel existing orders.
Hestia's operator may receive a referral reward when you sign up with tastytrade through a referral link. This creates a financial incentive to recommend that broker. You are not required to use the referral link.
Acknowledging trading risks does not release Hestia or its operator from legal responsibility for their own conduct. Nothing in these terms waives any rights, remedies, or duties under applicable securities, consumer protection, or other law, or prevents you from bringing a claim or contacting a regulator. Responsibility for any loss is determined by the facts and applicable law.
